Participation
Drawing on St Columba's Hospice Care as an ECHO Hub, the network’s methodology is based on collaboration, inclusion and participation and we aim to create a safe environment where learning occurs through sharing of knowledge and experience, supported through facilitated discussion.
Participation is free but registration is required. Please email us to express an interest and receive the Teams link at: echo@stcolumbashospice.org.uk
Overall the network will hold 8 online sessions via Teams. Each session will include a short presentation (10-15mins) followed by sharing of 1 or 2 practice based experiences and open discussion. Sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays, 2.00-3.30pm. Our first session takes place on 13th July 2022: Having difficult conversations with patients and families - communication in palliative care.
