We are looking forward to Christmas and we have been thinking a lot about how we can safely reflect, celebrate and remember loved ones within the current government guidelines. We will quietly light up trees in Charlotte Square, Haddington House garden and here in our Hospice grounds, where our families and wider community can enjoy them in their own time.
You can dedicate a light in memory of a loved one on our Tree of Remembrance and, by doing so, help to support the Hospice through our Light up a life appeal.Read about our Light up a life appeal
This is your chance to raise money for your local Hospice and have fun by designing your own challenge. You could climb Everest on your stairs, run a marathon distance over a month in the area near where you live, cycle 200 miles in four days or walk 13,000 steps to equal the distance our nurses’ travel on a typical shift. You are only limited by your imagination! Our fundraising team are happy to support you.Contact our team
Our new virtual fundraising events are a great way to continue your support of the Hospice at home. We have reimagined some of our best loved events, including Walk to Remember and our Annual Art Exhibition.
Our next virtual event is our Hospice Home Pub Quiz on Thursday 26th November. Please join us for 5 rounds of quizzing including a music and picture round, and feel free to get festive in a Christmas jumper or Santa hat! Read more here.Read our blog
There are lots of ways you can still fundraise for us. You could donate the amount you would have spent on getting beauty treatments or the amount you would have spent on your morning coffee for a month. You could hold a dress UP day on zoom with your colleagues! Or, if you have succumbed to #lockdownhair, why not brave the shave!
