How we run

St Columba’s Hospice Care is run to the benefit of people with palliative care needs from Edinburgh and the Lothians and their families. We’re independent, which means we can adopt the types of service most beneficial to our patients and region. It also means we have to raise considerable funds every year to care for people like we do.

It costs £10.77M a year to run our services

As an independent charity, much of that money comes from generous people just like you. We’d love to have the resources to reach even more people with illnesses who could benefit hugely from the various forms of care we provide.
