Handmade fabric bags, lovingly sewn by our volunteers to honour each patient’s belongings.

We’re pleased to share that we’ve officially launched our ‘Bags of Compassion’ initiative. This meaningful project invites members of the community to use their sewing skills to create simple fabric bags. These bags are used to return patients’ personal belongings to their families after they have died, offering a more dignified and compassionate alternative to plastic bags during a very difficult time.
