Choose St Columba’s Hospice Care as your charity partner of the year. We’ll look at the demographics of your staff and recommend fundraising activities and events that will be entertaining and fun. We can supply a fundraising pack, which features an A-Z of inspiring fundraising ides, as well as providing T-shirts, balloons and pop-up stands when required.
As an event sponsor you help us with the costs of running the event, which means that more of the money raised goes directly to Hospice care. Another way to help is to sponsor a month in our popular Artists’ Calendar, which is printed every year.
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to donate regularly to the charities and good causes tax free. The scheme is normally set up by your payroll department. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you’re a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p.
We are always looking for corporate teams as well to volunteer as a group – whether in the gardens, painting furniture, putting up the Hospice Christmas decorations, or helping with our events and campaigns. It’s a great way to build colleague relationships and promote goodwill while raising money for a great cause.
From golf days to quiz nights or from a dinner dance to a bake sale, organising an event in aid of St Columba’s Hospice Care is a great way to entertain your staff and customers while doing good in your community. We are on hand to offer help and advice at any stage of planning or running your event.
If you’d like to support St Columba’s Hospice Care and are unsure about the best way to do so, gifts in kind could be a great way to help. Gifts in kind could be donations of second hand items, professional services or discounted services.
It costs us £8.6m each year to run St Columba’s Hospice Care, with 75% of that sum coming through fundraising. By donating to us, you are helping to provide top class hospice care to patients and their families when they need it the most.
