For the families using our services, the festive period can be an incredibly poignant time of the year. Everyone wants to make the most of precious time together with family, friends and loved ones but living with a terminal condition can make this a challenge.
Our Hospice at Home Team will be supporting families across Edinburgh and East Lothian to live as well as they can this Christmas. They will be helping with the practicalities of care, managing challenging symptoms, and will be there to offer advice, support and hands on care where needed. Knowing that we are there is, for many of our patients and families, vital and gives them the confidence to stay at home, allowing them to truly feel safe and supported in their own communities.
