This is an opportunity to be part of our North Berwick café team who are committed to providing customers with a high quality, person centred and safe catering service.
Volunteering alongside our chef, you will be involved in the preparation of food and drink, including sandwiches, salads, paninis, soup, scones and cakes and will contribute to the operation & cleanliness of the catering area.
Hospice staff and volunteers are expected to reflect our Hospice Values in the way they carry out their roles, and in their interactions with each other and with patients, family members and any other visitors.

What will I be doing/ involved in?
General duties will involve preparing food and keeping the catering areas clean & tidy.
Support in the preparation of sandwiches, paninis, soup, scones, cakes and beverages
What experience or skills do I need?
Time commitment and duration
One morning or afternoon each week. The role will be reviewed on a yearly basis

39-41 Westgate, North Berwick
Who will be supporting me?
The café manager and the catering manager.

Volunteers may claim reasonable travelling expenses for transport to and from the café. Please speak to your manager about this.
The café provides complimentary tea and coffee to all volunteers whilst you are on shift
If you volunteer for a full day at the café, you can claim a free meal from the café. Please speak to your manager about this.
