Sharing Knowledge and Impacting Practice

One of the most significant aspects of our education partnerships is the opportunity to share our knowledge and experiences with our professional colleagues. Through publishing articles in esteemed journals and contributing to book chapters, we have been able to influence practices in nursing, medicine, social work, and the arts in palliative care at both national and international levels. This exchange of knowledge enhances the quality of care we provide and ensures that our practices align with the latest advancements in the field.

Internal Education and Practice Development

Our education partnerships have led to crucial advancements in internal education and practice development. Supporting innovative work within the Hospice is vital, and this is now being appropriately accounted for as part of our education and practice development activities. Placements and External Education Programs

Collaboration with Queen Margaret University has allowed us to organize placements for students, doctors, nurses, clergy, and allied health professionals within our Hospice.
