Inside Out – St Columba’s Hospice Palliative Care, Edinburgh

Welcome to ‘Inside Out’, our 2034-25 Impact Report! Through the videos, photos and documents below, we’ll be telling the story of our last year, and the people who made it possible.

This year we’ve continued to progress towards our strategic goals, support people in our local community, as well as continuing to drive national conversations around access to palliative and hospice care in the community.

We all know the Hospice is a place of laughter and light, from the warm welcome at reception, to the compassionate care in the wards – the friendly atmosphere of the Hospice is one of our most recognised attributes.

But behind closed doors, there are hundreds of dedicated staff and volunteers working away to make the Hospice the best it can possibly be. To help bring the ‘inside’ out, we gave them some cameras to document what running St Columba’s Hospice Care looks like from their perspective.
